Co-Founder & Visionary Behind Kainos Hospital
21 June 1973 — 18 September 2025 · MBBS, DCH, MRCPCH; Fellowships in ECMO (UHL, UK), PICU (BCH, UK), AICU (UHCW, UK), Neonatology (Cambridge, UK), Pre-hospital & Air Transfer (UHCW, UK)
It is with profound sadness that we remember Dr. Arvind Dahiya, the founding visionary of Kainos Hospital, who passed away on 18 September 2025. An intensive care and emergency medicine specialist with over 18 years of practice across India and the UK, he last served as Consultant Intensivist at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. His work spanned adult, paediatric and neonatal intensive care, ECMO, air ambulance and pre-hospital care, along with research aimed at improving how critical care services are delivered on the ground.
In 2012 he chose to bring world-class care home to Rohtak, founding Kainos so that families would never again have to rush to Delhi for advanced treatment. The critical care and ECMO programmes he built continue to save lives every day, carried forward by the team he inspired. His vision remains the foundation of this institution.
